The Scrum Certification coaching program provides you and your teams with a deep understanding of Agile Software development practices. You will earn your Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO) credentials through direct experience and coaching.
This engagement are for beginners as well as for experienced practitioners. Both will benefit from the simulations and first-hand experience with product development.
The program is also for practitioners who wish to go beyond the fundamentals of Scrum and Agile software development and experience product development, first-hand.
Although you will earn either the Certified ScrumMaster® or Certified Scrum Product Owner® qualification, the main aim of this engagement is to help you you to master Scrum.
Scrum is simple but not easy. Although the basic concepts can be covered easily in short training courses, teams often struggle with implementation. A coaching approach, as opposed to solely relying on a structured curriculum, ensures that attendees have the chance to assess Scrum against their own particular circumstances. It also provides opportunities to explore advanced topics with experienced practitioners, who are not only authorised to qualify Certified ScrumMasters® and Certified Scrum Product Owners® but who are also active Scrum practitioners at a team and at an enterprise level. By learning from a Scrum Alliance qualified coach, teams can turn Scrum and Agile software development from a mere aspiration into a reality.
You will spend a minimum of 25 contact hours with a Scrum Alliance Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC). During that time the coach will facilitate simulations and workshops that will cover all the learning objectives that will be tested in the official Scrum Alliance Certified ScrumMaster® online assessment. The concepts will be explored on-site, on the job or in a controlled learning environment. The learning objectives can be covered in as little as 3 days or spread out over several weeks, depending on what works best for you. When all of the CSM or CSPO learning objectives have been met, candidates can take the CSM exam or qualify as a CSPO on the coach’s recommendation.
